New England Honda Group Continues Support of the Jimmy Fund Through Boston Marathon Partnership

DANVERS, Mass., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — During the 130th running of the Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America, the New England Honda Group continued its longstanding commitment to supporting cancer research and patient care by sponsoring a team of 15 runners who raised funds for the Jimmy Fund, the charitable arm of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The 2026 Boston Marathon fundraising effort resulted in a $122,440 donation, presented to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute on September 24, 2026. The contribution brings New England Honda closer to its five-year fundraising goal of $500,000 in support of the Jimmy Fund. The initiative is part of an ongoing commitment that has seen New England Honda sponsor a team of runners and support the Jimmy Fund for the past four years. Through this partnership, the organization has helped turn the excitement and energy surrounding the Boston Marathon into meaningful support for groundbreaking cancer research and treatment.
The President of the New England Honda Dealers, Jason LaCroix, is personally involved with Honda’s fundraising efforts.
