VivaScore Introduces Bring Your Own App Framework for AI-Assisted Digital Health Development
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — VivaScore® has announced the introduction of its Bring Your Own App (BYOA) framework, extending access to its health intelligence infrastructure for healthcare organizations, insurers, employers and digital health technology providers.
The framework introduces AI-ready developer documentation packs designed to work with development tools including Claude, Cursor and Codex. These resources allow developers to use AI-assisted development workflows when building applications that connect to VivaScore’s existing application programming interfaces (APIs) and software development kits (SDKs).
The development forms part of VivaScore’s broader strategy to provide health intelligence infrastructure that can operate independently of a specific mobile or web application.
Two Integration Pathways
The framework supports two approaches to application development and integration.
Under the embedded integration model, organizations with existing applications can incorporate VivaScore’s health technology services through APIs and SDKs while retaining their own user authentication, account management and application interfaces. Integration uses profile identifiers and authenticated connections between partner systems and VivaScore’s backend services.
Under the BYOA model, organizations can develop new applications using VivaScore’s managed backend services, including user registration, authentication, health observations and encounter management. The accompanying developer packs provide technical instructions for connecting custom-built applications to these services.
Both approaches support access to available VivaScore capabilities, including contactless health assessments, connected health devices and wearables, structured questionnaires, health scoring and longitudinal health information.
Enterprise Security and Governance
The introduction of AI-assisted development tools has made it possible to create functional application prototypes in considerably shorter development cycles. However, the operational requirements for applications handling health information extend beyond the development of user interfaces and application functionality.
These requirements include authentication, access controls, data protection, secure information exchange and ongoing governance of health data.
VivaScore’s framework separates application development from its underlying platform services, allowing developers to use established backend infrastructure for supported health technology functions.
Organizations implementing the framework remain responsible for testing, application-level security, regulatory obligations and deployment-specific compliance requirements.
CTO Commentary
Willie Burger, Chief Technology Officer at VivaScore, said:
“AI development tools are changing how quickly software applications can be created. But building a functional application and operating one securely in a healthcare or enterprise environment are two very different things.
Our approach is to make the health technology infrastructure we’ve developed available through documented APIs, SDKs and agent packs. This allows developers to work with existing services for authentication, health data management and intelligence rather than recreating those components for each application.
The agent packs provide AI development tools with the technical context needed to work with the VivaScore platform. While this can substantially accelerate early development, production applications still require appropriate security reviews, testing and governance.”
Broader Platform Development
VivaScore’s health intelligence platform brings together information from contactless physiological assessments, wearable devices, health questionnaires and other supported data sources.
The platform supports health scoring, personalized engagement, longitudinal monitoring and integration with healthcare and wellbeing services.
The new framework extends VivaScore’s existing application deployment options, which include its standard mobile application, partner-branded implementations and embedded integrations.
