Former Kiehl’s and CeraVe leader to build on the strong foundation Fisher established

CARLSBAD, Calif., Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Colorescience, a premium, science-driven skincare and sun protection brand, today announced that John Reed has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2026. Mary Fisher, who has led the Company since 2013, has been named Vice Chair of the Board as part of a planned leadership succession.

Under Fisher’s leadership, Colorescience became one of the leading names in mineral sun and skin protection, delivering significant growth and successful product launches while building deep relationships with the dermatologists, plastic surgeons, aestheticians and medical spas who recommend and dispense its products.

Prior to that, he led CeraVe both before and after the brand’s sale from Valeant to L’Oréal, heading the brand at Valeant and then serving as General Manager of CeraVe within L’Oréal’s Dermatological Beauty Division, helping make it the #1 dermatologist-recommended skincare brand in the country. He brings deep relationships across the dermatology community and experience scaling science-backed brands across the professional, retail and e-commerce channels.
