Quantum XChange®, a leader in quantum-safe network security, today announced that Kfir Godrich, former Managing Director and Chief Innovation Officer of BlackRock, has joined its advisory board. The company also announced an expanded role for advisor Chris White, a veteran technology executive whose leadership experience spans Cisco, Philips, Bloom Energy and Analog Devices. White will work with the leadership team to accelerate commercial strategy, go-to-market execution, sales and strategic partnerships as demand grows for post-quantum readiness.
“Post-quantum readiness is becoming a board-level priority, and Kfir and Chris bring experience from both sides of that challenge,” said Eddy Zervigon, CEO of Quantum XChange. “Kfir has lived the problem our customers face. He was responsible for protecting and modernizing the infrastructure of the world’s largest asset manager, and he understands what it takes to bring new security architecture into production at that scale. Since joining us, Chris has helped sharpen our commercial priorities, strengthen our operating cadence and bring greater rigor to our sales and partnership execution. Expanding his role gives us more of that experience as we move into our next stage of growth.”
Godrich and White join an advisory board that includes Dr. Whitfield Diffie, who, together with Stanford University professor Martin Hellman, pioneered public-key cryptography. Their groundbreaking work laid the foundation for the cryptographic systems that underpin the security of today’s global digital economy.
Godrich is the founder of mAIndfulness, a think tank and venture platform at the intersection of AI, quantum, fintech, and digital infrastructure. He spent 12 years at BlackRock, where his responsibilities spanned technology, information security, enterprise services, Aladdin Data, and BlackRock’s AI Labs. As Chief Innovation Officer, he led the firm’s innovation agenda and helped bring emerging technologies from experimentation into production across one of the world’s largest and most complex financial institutions. He also led BlackRock’s engagement with the broader financial and technology ecosystems, including partnerships and ventures, and served on the firm’s Global Operating Committee. Before BlackRock, he was CTO of Hewlett Packard’s Technology Services business. He began his career in the Israeli Air Force after studying electrical and computer engineering at Ben-Gurion University.
“Financial institutions run on trust, and the encryption protecting that trust has an expiration date,” said Godrich. “Adversaries are already harvesting encrypted data to decrypt once quantum computers can break today’s standards, which makes this a risk boards have to own now, not later. What drew me to Quantum XChange is that its approach strengthens the infrastructure organizations already have instead of forcing them to rip and replace it. That is how security modernization actually happens inside a large enterprise.”
White brings more than three decades of experience building, scaling and transforming technology businesses across both established global companies and high-growth ventures. During nearly 20 years at Cisco, as the company grew from approximately $1 billion to nearly $50 billion in annual revenue, he held senior leadership roles across enterprise sales, emerging technologies, globalization and new business creation, including serving as Senior Vice President for Cisco’s Internet of Things business. He later served as President, Americas for Philips Lighting, now Signify; Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of Bloom Energy; and most recently led the Americas commercial organization at Analog Devices. Earlier in his career, White was part of two successful software startups that were acquired by Microsoft and Cisco. Across these roles, he has built and transformed commercial organizations, developed new markets and partner ecosystems, and helped translate emerging technologies into scalable business growth.
“Great technology creates an opportunity; disciplined execution determines whether you capture it,” said White. “Post-quantum security is moving from a future technology discussion to a business and operational imperative. Quantum XChange has differentiated technology and a significant opportunity ahead of it. My focus is helping the team translate that opportunity into commercial results – sharpening priorities, strengthening the operating cadence, building a repeatable go-to-market motion and expanding the customer and partner ecosystem. I’ve spent much of my career helping organizations make that transition from technology potential to scaled market impact, and I’m excited to help Quantum XChange do it here.”
